S.B. Patil Junior College organized a Ganpati Idol-Making Competition on 26th August 2025 in the college basement to encourage creativity, eco-friendliness, and cultural enthusiasm among students. The event aimed to promote the importance of environmentally safe celebrations during the Ganesh festival.
A total of 21 groups, comprising 52 students, enthusiastically participated in the competition. The participants showcased their talent and devotion by crafting beautiful and innovative Ganpati idols using eco-friendly materials like clay, paper, and natural colors. The atmosphere was filled with energy, creativity, and festive vibes as students displayed their artistic skills. The event was efficiently organized under the guidance of Mrs. Vinita Chandratre and Mrs. Rita Gadewar, who ensured smooth coordination throughout. The event concluded on a positive note, leaving behind an inspiring message of celebrating festivals responsibly and sustainably. After a tough evaluation, the winners were declared:

On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Under the guidance of Mrs.Kalyani Bhondave & Mr.Pradeep Kasar students of SBPCSC of 12th class Science & Commerce visited the Masti ki Pathshala an NGO for roadside kids., to celebrate the festival with children on 14.08.2025.SBPCSC students tied Rakhis to children and shared the festive happiness with them.As a token of love, they gifted each child bisuits and chocolates. They also contributed Groceries, and Food packets for their daily needs.The day was filled with joy, laughter and spirit of togetherness.The Children's smile and excitement made the celebration truly memorable.SBPCSC students also celebrated Rakhi festival Old Age Center Members.

This year, SBPCSC, celebrated the 79th Independence Day of our great nation with immense patriotism and pride. The day honored the countless heroes who sacrificed for India’s freedom and called on the youth to uphold the values that make Bharat truly great.Cheif Guest Mr.Upendra Dhone whose inspiring words emphasized selfless service and true patriotism .The celebrations began with the ceremonial hoisting of the national flag and followed by the national anthem. Students performed captivating patriotic songs, skits, and dances.The program beautifully reflected India’s journey—from struggle to strength.
Dental Check-up Camp was held in SBPCSC on 22nd July 2025 for class12th students of Science and Commerce.Panel of Doctos conducted this camp was Dr. Suraj Tidake and his team of 6 other doctors.As part of the check-up, tooth X-rays were also taken.The aim in conducting dental checkups was to promote their dental health and awareness.

S.B. Patil College of Science and Commerce organized a vibrant FunFair following a lively Retro Theme that brought a wave of nostalgia and excitement across the campus. The event was inaugurated by the esteemed Principal, Mr. Sandip Patil, who encouraged the students to participate wholeheartedly and make the event a grand success. The students enthusiastically set up a variety of food and game stalls, offering delicious treats and engaging activities for all. From traditional snacks to modern delights, and from fun-filled games to retro-themed decorations, the fair had something for everyone. Both students and teachers actively participated and thoroughly enjoyed the joyful atmosphere. The entire campus was filled with laughter, music, and vibrant colours, perfectly capturing the essence of the retro theme.
On 25th June 2025, an Extempore Competition was held at S.B. Patil College of Science and Commerce, Ravet to improve students'spontaneity, confidence, and public speaking skills. Participants were asked to pick a topic and speak on it for 2-3 minutes. The judging panel, consisting of Mr. Amar Shelke and Mrs. Gautami Das, evaluated the participants based on content relevance, confidence, language fluency, originality, creativity, and overall impact. The winners were Aron G., Dhairya Patil, and Afna Mohammadali. The event was a valuable platform for students to showcase their potential. Mr. Ausekar sir also assisted to bring a grand success of this event.
On 23rd June, 2025, SBPCSC organised and celebrated International Yoga Day.Students from Grade 12th of Science & Commerce , along with teaching and non-teaching faculty, participated in a celebration of health and harmony.

Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jayanti celebrated on April 11th2025 under the guidance of Mrs Anjali Rane . Program began with Saraswati Puja and garlanding photos of Saraswati and Mahatma Jyotiba Phule followed by speeches delivered by two students, Aditi and Tanishka and then Principal Sir. At the end of the program ,our student named Aditi presented vote of thanks.
The National science day was celebrated on 3rd March 2025 Monday with full energy & enthusiasm. The program included speeches delivered by students,teachers & Principal sir Mr. S.N. Patil. On the same day students had given an opportunity to showcase their imagination, creativity & thinking through poster making competition. The topics for poster making competition were Artificial Intelligence, New ways of Energy Generation, Nanoscience & Chandrayan. To encourage students, prizes were also given to all participants (students).
The Birth anniversary of Sant Gadge Maharaj originally observed on February 23rd, was commemorated with zeal and enthusiasm at S.B. Patil Junior College on February 24th,2025. The event drew participation from both students and teachers of the Science and Commerce streams.
In this program, the video on Sant Gadage Maharaj's life was played and by watching that video everyone was inspired. Students from 11th science A and B gave speeches on Sant Gadge maharaj and highlighted his work and efforts that he put for the society.
Respected Principal Sir also delivered a speech on Sant Gadage Maharaj in which he emphasized on his qualities that he possessed.
Pariksha Pe Charcha is part of the larger movement - ‘Exam Warriors’ - led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to create a stress-free atmosphere for youngsters. SBPCSC students of class 11th got engross in listening our Hon.Prime Minister.

On 28th December 2024, The event was a spectacular showcase of talent, creativity, and enthusiasm, as students took to the stage to dazzle the audience with their acting performances. The event was attended by esteemed guests, including Dr. Sachin Jain, Dr. Rajendra More ,Abhishek Mehta sir, Ajinkya Dabhade sir and Dr. Harish Tiwari , Principal of PCCOER
The program also recognized and rewarded academic excellence, with prizes distributed to top performers. Winners of zonal level sports competitions were awarded certificates and trophies, while participants in the poster making and dandiya (garba) competitions received certificates and cash prizes. The program, themed "Utsav" (Festival), was a celebration of cultural diversity, academic excellence, and sportsmanship. Students from the college participated in various cultural events, including dance, drama, and music, showcasing their exceptional talent and skit
The program commenced with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony, followed by a Classical Saraswati Vandana dance. The audience was then treated to a series of captivating cultural performances, including skits on Ganpati and Janmashtami, Koli dance, and acts on Mahishasur Vadh and Ramayan. The Annual Gathering Program "Utsav" ended with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, wrapping up an unforgettable evening of joy, laughter, and celebration.
The exhibition witnessed great enthusiasm and blooming participation from children of diverse classes, who had the unique opportunity of exploring as well as expressing their creative scientific ideas in the form of activities, models and projects. The students displayed their creative scientific potential in diverse arenas revolving around the themes of contemporary significance, namely, Agriculture and food security, Sources of energy and their conservation, Transport and communication, Disaster Management, Health, Robotics and engineering sciences.

"Mobile Science Lab visited S.B.Patil College on 14th and 15th June 2022. 12th class Science and Commerce students learned various concept of Science practically and dramatically.
University of Pune, and LG Electronics and Hanyang University, South Korea (Seoul) have jointly launched this Mobile Science Lab to create the scientific interest amongst the young school students in India (UGC approved programme at SPPU, PUNE). Mobile Science Lab is an innovative initiative in the field of science, for hands-on activities of different modules and facilitates easy learning of concepts by students."

Science day celebrations started with the inaugural session on 28th Feb 2020 with the lighting of the lamp and paying homage to Sir C.V.Raman.
